1. Release of Cerilica Publishing Pack 2

   Cerilica has released its second publishing software pack, containing 5 utilities suited to working alongside any RISC OS design and publishing system. Tools allow you to:

2. Acorn User 250th edition

   The September issue of Acorn User is the 250th issue of the magazine, and the 50th produced by tau Press.

   The landmark issue contains a full write-up of the press viewing of the Microdigital Omega, including a compatibility index on existing software.

3. ExpLAN: Kyocera laser printers, extra trays

4. Clipart CD End-of-line bargain

   • DiffTB, diff with throwback

     Allows output of the Acorn C/C++ tool 'diff' to be shown in a Throwback window.

     Port of a set of Vorbis ogg file tools, including integer and floating point decoders, encoder, comment editor and file information displayer. Ogg Vorbis is a new audio compression format, completely free, open, and unpatented.

   • TempTed, template text editor

     Tool for programmers and translators, enables the user to edit icon and window title texts of Template files in bulk, without the need to access every window separately with a Template Editor (like WinEd or TemplEd). This also removes the danger of accidentally moving icons or windows.

2. Updated software summary

   • BeebIt v0.42

     BBC Micro computer emulator. The ZeriBeep module has been fixed to stop random crashes, the video emulation can now better handle mid frame CRTC register updates, pressing the Print Scrn key will now save a screen dump, and Master Compact emulation has been added.
