    • USB free hub offer extended

    • New Uninterruptible Power Supply

      Stuart Tyrrell Developments are able to supply the Energy Protector 650 UPS, which provides up to 45 minutes of backup time, along with surge protection and RFI filtering. An AVR mechanism will boost or buck the mains voltage if it is out of tolerance. It is equipped with two mains outputs, comes complete with cables, and costs GBP64.95+GBP10 carriage.

    • Finger-operated trackballs

  2. 32bit C/C++ with Printed Manuals

    To compliment the recent launch of the 32bit version of Acorn C/C++, The Fourth Dimension is making available a package of the new 32bit C/C++ CD with copies of the four Acorn printed manuals (totalling 1388 pages).

    The original printed manuals are supplied in an updated electronic version on the CD but many programmers prefer to refer to printed documentation.

      An ARM code analyser that understands RISC OS executable, module, object and library formats. Enhancements in this version: all code using NV condition marked as not 32 bit; non XScale instruction warning added for LDR Rd,[Rd],#0; warning added for branching outside 64MB or with thumb bit; Sound_Install voice installation header identified; settype comment added to assembler output for modules; ARMalyser automatically runs a 26 or 32 bit RISC OS executable depending the Shared C library available; future enhancements added to documentation.     • CVS v1.02

      Version control system. The latest PuTTY source (0.53) is ported and used by CVS, an extra commandline option (--ssh2) is added to force CVS to use SSH-2 instead of SSH-1, and the filetype of non-textfiles will be sent to the server.

    • FSI_Batch v2.9

    • GCC/GCCSDK v2.95.4 release 2

      GCC is a free collection of compilers that provide the user with a powerful tool for translating C, C++ and Fortran source into fast ARM assembler that is suitable for execution on RISC OS. This is the second release of GCC 2.95.4 and focuses mainly on usability bug fixes, compiler and C run-time library fixes.

      Software for validating HTML pages. This is a simple recompile of the previous version with the 32 bit tool chain.

    • KinoAMP v0.22

      An MPEG movie player. Changes in this release are: improved 32 thousand colour support using dithering; options to multitask when using the desktop; on screen display includes playing time and frame number; when multitasking, a Drawfile is displayed for 1 second before the film.

    • LinkFS v2.02

      Provides symbolic links to directories. This is a complete rewrite of the original software which fixes a number of minor bugs and also introduces several new features: modifications made to a directory which is the target of a link are now reflected in any filer windows which are open on the link; a 32 bit compatible version of the module has been added and will be automatically loaded on machines with an appropriate run time environment installed.

      An X Server application for RISC OS. It allows you to run the various X client programs on a remote server (usually a Unix/Linux based system) and see the output on your RISC OS desktop.     • TinyThumb v1.01

      Produce small versions (thumbnails) of a series of JPEG images. It can generate a series of HTML pages with the thumbnails displayed so that they can be clicked on to download the original image. This version fixes a known problem with very long pathnames as well as offering a number of different formats to display the path in.
