Win a copy of the Castle C/C++ tools
John Myers, the winner of the Iyonix in Castle's recent competition, has

Wireless Networking from Stuart Tyrrell Developments
Stuart Tyrrell Developments are pleased to announce a range of wireless
networking devices for RISC OS and other PCs.
Wireless USB adaptor
The wireless USB adaptor enables users who own the Simtec USB card to
connect their machine to a new or existing wireless network in ad-hoc
or infrastructure mode. The device simply plugs into the USB card like
other USB devices, and comes complete with a RISC OS configuration
program. Adaptor inc RISC OS drivers: GBP79.95 inc VAT and carriage.
Simtec USB card: GBP99.95 inc VAT and carriage.
Wireless Access point / Bridge / Media Converter
This versatile device, primarily an access point and interface between
wired and wireless networks may also be configured as a bridging
access point (enabling a number of wired networks to be linked
wirelessly), and as a media converter (enabling a single machine
fitted with a network card to communicate with a wireless network).
It is ideal for users with machines which are currently fitted with
Simtec NET100 network cards who want to convert their network to a
wireless variant. Converter: GBP99.95 inc VAT and carriage. NET100
100BaseT card: GBP89.00 inc VAT and carriage.
All wireless products operate at up to 11Mbps and support 128-bit WEP.

Rhapsody 4: under new management
APDL and ProAction Software have recently taken over Clares Micro Supplies
FULL range of current RISC OS products; including Schema, Composition, and
Rhapsody 4.
Rhapsody 4 is the latest of the Rhapsody series of music notation
applications for playing, recording and printing music. Music can be input
manually by dragging notes onto staves or with the addition of a MIDI card
and MIDI keyboard you can play a tune and Rhapsody will capture it to then
place the notes on the staves automatically.
The launch price from APDL and ProAction is GBP29.90 inc VAT and postage
within the UK, on CD-ROM unless otherwise requested. If you buy the Music
Maestro pack you will save GBP5 - both for GBP44.80.
The new Rhapsody 4 launches on 3rd January 2003. Details for other
Clares software will be announced in the future.

Printer drivers, HP Deskjets 3820, 3822, 5550 etc, Epson 900, 980 USB
RISC OS drivers are now available for the HP Deskjet 995, 3820, 3822 and
5550 printers. Updated USB drivers for the Epson Stylus Colour 900 and 980
printers are also available.

BeebIt v0.46
A freeware BBC Micro computer emulator for RISC OS versions 3.00 and
above. It emulates the Acorn BBC Model B, BBC Model B+ and BBC Master
128 computers. The following improvements have been done since 0.45:
fixed incorrect screen display when 25 FPS and interlaced was selected;
fixed lockup in Master 128 mode when paged scrolling is waiting for
shift key; crashes are handled better; fixed an initialisation problem
with ZeriBeep and improved responsiveness; added 1770 disc write
routines.
