Last reminder about RISCOS SOUTHWEST
The RISCOS SOUTHWEST show will be taking place on Saturday 28th February
2004. The event will once again be taking place at the Webbington Hotel,
North Somerset, starting at 10am and finishing 4.30pm.
Exhibitors taking part include:
APDL, Archive, AAUG, Castle, CJE Micros, David Snell, EFF, Finnybank,
Fortran Friends, Peter Naulls, Photodesk, R-Comp, Ray Favre, RISCOS Ltd,
SSS, StrongARM Systems, ARM Club, IC Software, ITC, Oregano and Virtual
A5000.
The theatre will take place once again, with talks from Castle, RISCOS Ltd
and Finnybank. If you have any second hand Acorn equipment you want to get
rid of, please bring it along to the show.
Entrance is GBP3 adults, GBP2 Foundation/ARM Club members, and under 16s
free. There will be a free minibus shuttle service from Weston-super-Mare
train station. Please come and support the only RISC OS show in South West
England.

Zip drives for the STD/Simtec USB card
Stuart Tyrrell Developments are pleased to announce the immediate
availability of a range of Zip drives for use with the STD/Simtec USB
card.
Zip250 drives are capable of reading and writing 100MB or 250MB Zip media
in DOS format, and are available at GBP89 inc VAT and carriage. Full
drivers are supplied.
Zip750 drives are capable of reading and writing 250MB and 750MB Zip media
in DOS format, and reading 100MB DOS Zip media. The Zip750 drives are

Windfall Engineering closing down sale
Windfall Engineering is closing down. To give potential customers a last
chance to purchase ViewFinder, Windfall Engineering is having a final
'ViewFinder sale': EUR50 inc. VAT off the normal prices. After Windfall
has closed down the ViewFinder will no longer be manufactured, if you want
one then, you will have to get it second hand.

Iyonix Linux at the South West show
Iyonix Linux will be demonstrating at the forthcoming South West RISC OS
show. Come along and see a full Linux desktop running on an Iyonix.
Iyonix Linux is available to purchase on CD including one month's support
from GBP28, or preinstalled on a hard drive ready to plug into your Iyonix

Latest version of Director, a general purpose desktop tool. It allows
you to customise your desktop by creating menus of useful commands and
icons to attach the menus to.

- Reporter v2.54
Enables the easy display of text and variable values in a debugging
window from WIMP programs (especially BASIC), Obey files and more. A new
application, ReportTA, is a major addition included in this version.
ReportTA analyses Trace data from BASIC programs collected by the
Reporter command ReportTrace, counting the number of times Procedures,
Functions, or even Lines are used. This enables the easy identification
of program code that is very heavily used or never used.

- TapirMail v0.99
A shareware POP3 email client designed to complement the existing e-mail
clients available for RISC OS. Its main difference is that it works
entirely in memory and does not permanently download e-mails. New in
this version: MIME attachment decoding, simple address book facility,
SMTP authentication added (PLAIN, LOGIN and CRAM-MD5), "BCC to self",
"mailto:" WIMP messages now acted on, and invert inbox selection button.
Also the maximum number of accounts has been increased to 20, and a font
bug and several minor bugs fixed. Registration costs just GBP5.
